Mint Middle East LLC. (MME) was established in 2009, and serves the UAE and GCC region in the payment of wages to unbanked expatriate workers. MME facilitates automated payroll payments, providing modern services to the under-banked sectors of the economy and making the process of payroll easy for the employer.

MME is certified by the Central Bank of U.A.E. as a Wages Protection Systems (WPS) agent and is processing payroll payments via the WPS system since the introduction of the regulatory frame.

The Company works in partnership with Banks in UAE to provide electronic disbursement services through the issuance of a pre-paid card to salaried workers who previously received their wages in cash. The employee’s salary is loaded onto the prepaid card electronically allowing them to withdraw cash from a Partner Bank ATM for free and with normal switch charges from other public ATMs.

MME  is currently serving a portfolio of more than 300,000 cardholders.
